Seriously, who doesn't LOVE pizza?!  And when you can make them super fast and individual for each family member, how does it get better than that?!  Well, how bout if they're healthy too, but still taste like a cheat meal?!  Now do I have your attention??  This is an absolute family favorite at my house.  Everyone gets to pick their toppings for a totally customized meal, but it doesn't take mom any longer to put together!  Yea!  This is the grown-ups version, (cause let's be honest, the kiddos just want cheese only!).

Pita Pizza

21 Day Fix container fufilment for 1 pizza:
1 RED
1 YELLOW
1 GREEN
1 BLUE

Ingredients per pizza:
  • 1 whole wheat pita bread
  • 9 shrimp, deveined, and no tails (frozen is okay, but just defrost!)
  • 1 cup veggies, finely diced - tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli
  • natural pizza sauce (I like Dei Fratelli)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • crushed red pepper
  • fresh basil if you've got it
  • cheese - feta and mozarella

Instructions:

Spray cookie sheet with Pam with Olive Oil.  Place pita bread on the cookie sheet and spoon on some pizza sauce.  Add sliced garlic, crushed red pepper, and basil or any other seasonings you desire.

Saute shrimp in olive oil with a little salt and pepper over medium-high heat until they pink up.

Nine shrimp fit perfectly and that's just how many you need for a serving of protein!

Top with veggies and cheese -- pile it up high!

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Isn't that gorgeous?!
